Gary Soper: different children - different ways to learn better

Gary Soper, certified primary school teacher of English (Portland, OR, USA) shared many years of experience with his Kazakhstani colleagues. Workshop on "Perception of Information: Different Learning Styles" was held on September 28, 2016 in the framework of KAFU International Scientific Conference "Innovative Development: National Priorities and International Experience."

“Younger students think concretely, but they can be taught to see the world and interact with it in an abstract manner”, teacher stresses.

Gary Soper elaborated on the types of multiple intelligences: verbal, auditory, visual, kinesthetic, tactile.

The speaker noted that as teachers we can create an atmosphere or environment in which students can achieve success and provide an opportunity to understand their personal types of multiple intelligences. We can also consolidate their success, demonstrating to them our desire to see their achievements and encouraging their efforts.
