Move! And Be Well!

With this a well-known sports scientist Anatoly Kulnazarov addressed everyone. A button that can make all 800 muscles of human body move is not yet invented.

EKSU held presentation of the book about Anatoliy Kulnazarov - our glorious compatriot, athlete and organizer of physical education and sport in Kazakhstan. Book’s author is Sovet Imangaliyev, and this is not the first book he wrote about famous Eastern Kazakhstani people. The presentation was attended by veterans, comrades, colleagues, teachers and students. Q&A session took place.

The first to welcome Anatoliy Kulnazarov was KAFU President, Member of the National Academy Yerezhep Mambetkaziyev.

“Thank you, dear Anatoliy Kozhekenovich, for all that you have done and continue to do for the development of physical education and sport! Thanks to the book’s author for such clear interpretation of life and work of the unique personality, who continues to work in the science of sport for more than half a century now.

KAFU President further notes that we experience particular pride and joy because of the fact that such a talented person is a native East Kazakhstani and a graduate of Ust-Kamenogorsk Pedagogical Institute, which was the first university of independent Kazakhstan. Leafing through the book, going along with the hero we become a party to many sporting events, starting with a native village and continuing on the world stage of Olympic arenas.

Anatoliy Kulnazarov, PhD in Education, Candidate Master of Sports of the USSR in athletics and women's middle distance, Honored coach and teacher of the Kazakh SSR ... graduate of UKPI of 1968, began his career as a school Physical Education teacher, then senior manager, Deputy Director of the regional Youth Sports School ... Since 1976 he has held the position of Deputy Director of the Republican secondary boarding school, he worked in the Ministry of Education, Tourism, Physical Culture and Sports, Ministry of Education ... first Vice-President of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Without science and a program of physical training and sports development it is difficult to hope for the formation of a healthy nation, worldclass sports teams and sportsmen.

People have too much trust in the almighty medicine, and accordingly do not show health efforts to prevent disease, especially chronic. In most cases, atherosclerosis, coronary heart disease, diabetes, obesity and other diseases are results of unhealthy lifestyle. Therefore, movement, sun, clean air and water were and will always be our best friends.
