






On November 11, 2019, as part of the Small Grants grant project of the US Embassy on Art Therapy, the first meeting was held with young women who were in a difficult life situation and are living now in the "Mom’s House" in Ust-Kamenogorsk.
The art therapist, senior lecturer of the department of Pedagogy and Psychology, psychologist-consultant Yelena Nikolayevna Vdovina carried out a psychodiagnostic work in order to determine the field of problems, characteristics of the emotional state, personality of the participants and psychological support.
The young women took part in the art-therapeutic technique “Who Am I”, where they plunged into the process of cognition and reflection of their social roles and personal qualities.KAFU volunteers willingly helped in organizing children's leisure during the meeting.After the meeting the participants expressed their positive feedback about the work and showed interest in further meetings.
